Welcome to Northport Creek

One of Northport’s greatest charms is that it’s not on the way to anywhere. Perched at the end of the Leelanau Peninsula, Michigan’s “little finger,” the town of a few hundred people looks out on the crystalline blue waters of Grand Traverse Bay. A couple of miles away, on the other side of the peninsula, is the “big lake,” Lake Michigan, with its towering dunes and sugar sand beaches.
